Elderflower and Quince Gin

It’s been a busy few months for us here at Shakespeare Distillery, running our distillery tours, gin schools, cocktail masterclasses and gin cruises… oh and making some gin too!

We’ve been working hard on developing new flavours too and are very excited to announce the launch of our latest product to the range, our Elderflower and Quince Gin. We blend our award-winning Stratford Dry Gin with the quintessential British flavours of Elderflower and the noble Quince; no fruit was more highly prized in the Tudor period. Subtle apple notes from the Quince fuse with the mild sweetness of Elderflower to create a deliciously fruity, full-strength (40% ABV) gin. Nothing artificial goes into our gin, we don’t over sweeten it, so you taste real gin in every mouthful.

We are also very excited to announce the winner of our Elderflower and Quince label design competition that we ran in the summer; congratulations goes to Oliver Fletcher, a 2nd year Digital Media Production student from Sheffield Hallam University. We think he is a truly talented young man, the fantastic new design incorporates hand drawn pictures of our Tudor Garden botanicals, a bolder logo and a new label shape. We liked it so much we have applied the design across our entire range!
