A fabulous experience, not to be missed! Fantastic, insightful and a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. Clearly everyone on the team is passionate about the journey of this successful small business. We came away having learnt so much more about Gin and Rum. The tastings and information given about each product was excellent and we would highly recommend this experience.

Great experience and would highly recommend. Great experience. Educational and entertaining. Great presenters and the afternoon was balanced in having 3 sections-gin history, how gin and rum is distilled, aged, and packaged, and the gin tasting session at the end. Great to taste up to 3 gins or rums with optimal mixers and ice. Would highly recommend this experience to other visitors. The cafe at the entrance is also worth visiting by arriving 20-30 min before the tour starts.

Be ready for lots of Rum Putting my review for the Rum making class here as I couldn't find a specific spot for it. I had limited time to make it to the class due to my travel arrangements and the team at Shakespeare Distillery were super accommodating even offering to store my bag if I couldn't check in before the class when I emailed them about my situation. The class is a 3 hour workshop where you choose which flavours you would like to infuse your Rum with, I chose Christmas tones of currants, nutmeg etc, and the team are there to help guide when it comes to quantity. The guys had a great sense of humour and made the learning experience fun. During the session we also had 3 Rum based cocktails and three tastings so make sure if you do sign up for this course you aren't driving as you don't want to miss trying them all (as well as your own creation at the end). Looking forward to getting my family and friends to taste test the Rum I made during this session.

Shakespeare Distillery Gin School We had an excellent afternoon at The Shakespeare Distillery Gin School. We were made very welcome, the gins were superb, loved the Tom Collins. Crafting our own gin was great fun and the guidance was excellent. We would definitely recommend and hope to return again soon. Thank you!

A great gift Our children bought us this tour for Christmas and we booked it on our Wedding Anniversary. An excellent choice! The tour and tasting were really informative and interesting. We got to taste several Gins and Rums and there was a good selection to purchase in the shop afterwards.

We will be going back I went here with a friend and sadly we was so late due to traffic. Katherine was absolutely lovely when we got there ( 50 mins late) and stayed on to let us have some tasters and share some her knowledge. Was very much appreciated after the journey we had!

Go & buy an experience its excellent We were bought this as part of a Virgin experience present. The experience was excellent. The brothers who own the business are so knowledgeable and give a very interesting talk which keeps your attention. Plenty of gin or rum to sample at the end and advice on which mixers go with the different flavour gin or rumIt will certainly make a great present for friends & family.

Quite simply, just excellent. Absolutely superb Gin Experience. Both our guides James and Claire were outstanding presenters, full of genuine enthusiasm, a nice touch of humour and very convincing. The gin was pretty good too, particularly 'Stratford Dry'. Some members of our party stayed on to go around again with the next tour which probably says it all. On a different tack, the background to them setting up this now highly successful enterprise in such a competitive environment is fascinating . I am not sure I would have the gumption, but I could learn a lot from here.

Fantastic Experience Fantastic, from the warm welcome to the fantastic tour and tasting. The team were very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and professional in the delivery of their product. Excellent value for money all round and opened my eyes experiences of a non gin drinker and to rum which I do enjoy. Rum Distilling Experience - Fantastic We had a great time distilling our own rum at Judith's in Stratford-upon-Avon. All the staff from Shakespeare Distillery, including those doing the experience and serving in the shop, were extremely friendly, helpful and informative. This certainly enhanced the enjoyment during the day. If anyone is looking for a fun gift for a loved one, especially if they like rum or gin, this experience is ideal!

Excellent I had an absolutely wonderful time at Shakespeare Distillery. It’s such a unique and memorable experience to create your own gin, choosing the botanicals and flavours that suit your taste. The team running the session were genuinely lovely—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.One of the highlights was being able to take home the gin I crafted, beautifully bottled with a personalised label. That thoughtful touch really made the experience feel special.I’d happily do it all over again — it’s truly worth it.
