River Avon Gin Tasting Cruises
Enjoy a 60 minute cruise on the beautiful River Avon through Stratford-upon-Avon. See all the riverside sights including the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Holy Trinity Church, Shakespeare’s burial place, while enjoying a tutored tasting of the craft gins produced by the award winning Shakespeare Distillery, finishing with a glass of Gin & Tonic to toast your captain & crew.
We are partnering with Avon Boating to offer Gin tasting cruises which will take place at 6.30pm on selected weekend dates each month from July – October.
We will carry out a short talk on Gin whilst providing a tasting of our 3 spirits, as the boat cruises upstream during the first half of the cruise. At the end of the tasting, guests will enjoy a Stratford Gin & Tonic (25ml single measure) whilst taking in the remainder of the cruise, passing under the bridge and downstream taking in the RSC and church, before returning back to their Boathouse on Swan’s Nest Lane.
Approx. 60 mins, starting at 6.30pm.
October cruises start at 6pm due to earlier sunset times.
9 October. (6pm start)

Avon Boating also offer the original 30 Minute River Cruise on their famous fleet of Edwardian vessels. For over 100 years they have been hiring out small boats from the Boathouse and running passenger vessels on the Avon. The river, one of the finest reaches for boating in the country, has remained virtually unchanged in all this time. It is still a real delight, a pleasure to be out on its peaceful waters. Come and relax and enjoy it with us.
