Great time! The tour was a treat for my husband and we asked my sister and brother-in-law, we got an Uber from Stratford upon Avon which was cheap and very easy.All the staff at Shakespeare Distillery were so friendly and very informative, the historical information of gin was fun and interesting and the tour around the casks was so informative and relaxed.All the processes through to bottling are explained well.We went into the tasting room and learnt so much as well as experiencing different gins and the selection of tonics and learning how to prepare them for your pallet.After we were able to purchase gin and rum of varying bottle sizes, gift packs available too.After we stayed for another drink while we waited for our Uber back and all the staff were relaxed and in no rush for us to leave, we definitely recommend this experience.

Enjoyable experience Interesting introduction about the history of alcohol and gin. Learnt facts that I was not aware of. We gained a better understanding of how it's made and enjoyed the gin tasting. It was a virgin experience bought by family

Great your and tasting This is the second time we have visited the distillery, previously we distilled our own gin at their school. This time around it was a tour of their facility and tasting their range of gins and rums. Highly recommended, advised not to drive there.

A truly nice experience Made very welcome and your first rum mixer drink was freeThere was short chat about the products and how there distilled and a introduction to the Shakespeare distillery Then you try 3 different 3 rums with a insight into the way these rums get there flavours All in all a very pleasant way to spend an hour learning and drinking English rum

Gin making , Stratford gin distillery What an absolute wonderful experience, the staff are amazing and we had a fabulous afternoon full of laughter with likeminded people, I throughly recommend the gin making experience x

If you like gin or rum - do this tour What a great tour. Everyone was so welcoming and very informative. So lovely to see a real small family run business doing so well. The tour was interesting and lasted about half an hour and then we had the tasting session. Again we learned so much about how to drink gin and how much tonic and ice to put in etc. we tried 2 flavours of gin and either a rum or another gin. Then we got a choice of a long drink. Great value for money and a really great experience.

Gin for every occasion Really good experience, well delivered by the friendly and knowledgable team. The walk through the distillation process was fascinating.Gin tasting was very informative, great explanations about which mixers work best with each gin.

Best Experience I have been on This was the best experience I have been on for a Gin tour. The cost was so reasonable and great value for money. To cater for children meant that we could do a whole family day. The length of tour was perfect and the size of participants meant that you were not too crowded. It was such a great atmosphere, very informative and the staff was so friendly. Would highly recommend

Educational and great fun Educational and fun. The tour is carried out by people involved in the process and they are extremely knowledgeable. The science and technology involved in producing gin and rum is fascinating and clearly explained. The tasting/drinking session was excellent

Gin tasting river cruise This was a birthday present from colleagues - it was a lovely evening to be on the river. The host was passionate about the products and gave a good solid introduction to each taster and the final drink. The souvenir glass was a lovely touch.

Well worth a visit We had a fantastic time, it was very informative, funny, the two guides were very knowledgeable and knew their stuff. We will definitely be back to do the Gin master class
