Shakespeare Distillery marked its 10th anniversary in true spirited fashion last weekend, with an evening of celebration followed by two days of festivities for customers at our High St shop in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The celebrations began on Friday evening, where we raised a glass to 10 wonderful years of distilling with an evening of canapés, cake and of course, drinks!
Surrounded by our incredible team, suppliers, and long-time supporters, we took a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come since the launch of our very first gin in 2015 — and to toast to the exciting years ahead. It was an honour for the Mayor of Stratford, Dani Hunter, to join our celebrations and perform the ceremonial cutting of the cake.
Over the celebration weekend, our doors were open to customers old and new as we invited everyone to join in the festivities. Visitors enjoyed free cocktails and tastings in Judith’s Tasting Room & Rum School, explored our curated display of Shakespeare Distillery’s history, featuring original bottles and bottling equipment, and took advantage of exclusive anniversary discounts across our entire range.
To make the occasion even more special, we unveiled several new product launches, including:
- Stratford Zero, our first-ever 0% spirit, a reimagining of our award-winning Stratford Dry Gin for when you want all the flavour without the alcohol.
- Pinot Noir Gin, an exciting collaboration with Welcombe Hills Vineyard, blending Judith’s Pink Gin with their Pinot Noir wine to create a beautifully fruity and complex spirit.
Guests could also pick up our limited-edition celebratory Stratford Gin bottle and tumbler, created especially for the anniversary. All of these products are still available to purchase in store and in our online shop.
